A specialized training program on modern media reporting has concluded in Mogadishu, bringing together journalists from different regions of Somalia.
The training was concluded by Veteran Journalist Shaaiye Abdirisak Salad and focused on modern approaches to news reporting and the effective use of digital platforms to deliver accurate, timely, and reliable information to the public.
Throughout the program, participants gained knowledge and practical skills related to the changing media landscape, particularly the growth of digital journalism, social media, and modern techniques for producing and distributing news content.
During the closing session, Shaaiye Abdirisak Salad encouraged the participating journalists to continuously strengthen their professional knowledge and make effective use of new technologies while maintaining journalistic ethics, accuracy, and responsibility.
The journalists who traveled from different regions of Somalia described the training as an important opportunity to enhance their skills in modern media reporting and exchange professional experiences with fellow journalists.
