Veteran journalist Khalid Mohamud Mohamed (Khalid Mulla) conducted a professional knowledge-building training session for staff members of the Office of the Communications Directorate of the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia.

The training focused on strengthening the professional skills and capabilities of communications staff, particularly in news writing, information management, media coverage, and the preparation and dissemination of official communications.

During the training, Khalid Mulla shared his extensive experience and professional expertise in journalism and media, emphasizing the importance of producing official news and communications in a professional, clear, accurate, balanced, and responsible manner.

The session also provided an opportunity for staff to enhance their understanding of effective government communication, the management of important information, and the appropriate ways of communicating official messages and presidential activities to the public.

The training forms part of efforts to strengthen the capacity of communications professionals and improve the quality and effectiveness of official government media and public communication.
